DAY-8 WALES

The morning was foggy, but yet again I was going down with minor climbs here and there. Bishops Castle and around is a good place to start for those who are cycling south. The Long Mynd is behind you and Herefordshire being flat, you can relax until just before English-Welsh border.

During lunch break I’ve met a group of cyclists from Cologne, doing Köln’s sister city tour through France, UK and Ireland.

Guys were 4 days into their journey – good luck to them! …support team…

Wales turned out to be hot. Wherever I come these past 3 days, everyone tends to say it’s the hottest day of the year for that area, however for me it’s just yet another hot day. I feel like cycling around Mediterranean if not for so much green everywhere.

However, it was the first night I got to experience a beautiful thunderstorm!
