DAY-7 LANCASHIRE, CHESHIRE, SHROPSHIRE

I was doing so great in the morning: sped between Liverpool and Manchester into flat Cheshire and I managed to be too early for my lunch break. Then I crossed into Shropshire. What looked like innocent hillies around Long Mynd, broke me. Today I had to push up my bicycle for some 20 metres for the first time, because It was just to steep to pedal up. I’m not sure whether the mountains in Shropshire are steeper than Scottish Highland, but the 7th day in a row on a road is definitely taking it’s toll.

But overall Shropshire has some wonderful roads:
