DAY-4 ISLE OF ARRAN

Scotland is not Scotland without it’s islands, unfortunately I had time only for one and I’m glad I have chosen this route.
Morning bit of the ride has been strenuous and the second flat tyre did not help. The road to Claonaig again runs along the coast of Kintyre and would have been more enjoyable if not that rush to catch the first ferry.

Once on Arran, already slow life slows down even more, you have no choice, but to blend in.

The rest of the afternoon back on the mainland was not that appealing. National cycling route 7 turned out to be extremely confusing and heavily congested by casual cyclists.
The quality of roads is pretty bad in Ayrshire and mountain bicycle with suspension would have been so much more comfy. Well, currently I don’t do comfy :)
